As we kick off the new year of 2016 there is a lot we all are looking forward to. For young kids, they are excited to see their friends again after winter break from school. Many are accustomed to enjoying the cooler weather with anticipation of warmer temperatures. Luckily for them, we have an amazing program that is within arms reach.

During the spring season we offer a fun filled, educational, and rewarding camp program. Every year we thrive to create new activities for our campers to experience. While we understand it is important to make sure that each camper participates in activities that will keep their interest. However, we have learned that campers are just as animated and thrilled for learning just as they are playing sports. This is why we have created a blueprint for each location to have a mix of every program.

We are very lucky to have a beautiful state such as Florida to provide us with stunning weather all year around. We have three different locations spread out across the area for your convenience.

This location is based in Fort Lauderdale surrounded by an oasis of tropical hammocks. In one area, there is a large and beautiful field that we utilize for outdoors games and activities, Right next to it is a nice size playground that includes slides, swings, and your quintessential sections kids love.

Located in North Miami, Oleta River State Park has a very eclectic feel and view. This location also includes the essential equipment for campers to enjoy for hours. In addition to that, there is a pavilion suitable for campers who would like to take a quick rest and/or sit down and eat lunch. The pavilion is also utilized for activities and labs that we host on a daily basis. In the event that a summer storm occurs, this is where we all keep shelter until further notice.

Lagoon/Esturay Beach is a glorious setting for our campers to view the natural beauty of what lives there. Fish, urchins, dolphins, sea stars, manatees, and more are all out and about enjoying their every day lives as well.

Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park

john-mapOur last location, which is located in Dania Beach, is the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. With rich history stemming from the late 1800’s, this 310-acre state park is the very last locale encompassing the underdeveloped barrier islands of southeast Florida.

At this location we allow our campers to partake in a multitude of programs. One of the programs includes the awareness of local turtles. Every day little turtle come in and out based upon their needs and weather conditions. We want our campers to understand and respect Mother Nature in its most beautiful forms possible.

Just like Oleta River State Park, we are lucky to have a pavilion to host our daily activities, labs, and lunch. On days where we do not have to worry about weather being an issue, our campers can enjoy the entire area.

The Sea Grapes and Cabbage Palms sit a little bit west of the coastline. This gives us an ample amount of room to explore in groups, learn more history about the history in detail, all while enjoying plenty of shade.

This spring season we are offering a wide variety of activities for campers to enjoy. Here is a following list you can expect your camper to rave to you about at the end of the day.fishing

• Paddle Boarding

When the campers are not at our locations, that means we have taken them on one of our amazing field trips. These excursions will be held during normal camping hours. In the scenario where we expect the pick-up time from the parents to be a little bit later, our team will definitely inform you all immediately.

What we love the most is being able to make campers happy whether it is during their spring break from school or not. It is priceless to see how much excitement they have throughout the entire day. This has been the first camp ever that my son didn’t complain about going in the morning, but he did tell me about the friends he made and the things he did. We love this camp!
